Joe Siegler from 3D Realms (Part 1 of 2) – THD#B06

Today on the big show, Joey Joe Joe Junior Shabadoh (aka Joe Siegler of 3D Realms.com) stops by to NOT talk about the 800lb Gorilla named Duke Nukem. But it turns out they talk about Duke Nukem Forever. Also Joe tells the story on how he came to work at 3D Realms, and much more.

Update 1:  Unfortunately, this evening it was confirmed to Tech HotDish with TC that 3D Realms have been closed.   Our best wishes are with the employees and families of the company.

Update 2:  Joe has given his blessing on running part 2 of the interview, so we’ll see about potential posting that next week.

It’s a very sad day that 3d realms is done… What was in the 2nd part of the interview? Did he talk about it shutting down?

The host does seem to have no idea what he’s talking about but at least Joe is/sounds appropriately pissed. First time I hear his voice :o
