Old Daily Dementia from May 4th, 1999. Damn I sound good.
Amer Ajami, recently hired by GameSpot.com, was on the show. Amer was previously with SharkyExtreme.com, and this might have been the last time Amer was on the Daily Dementia.
What’s funny about this show is that I predict that ZDNet/GameSpot would buy 3DFiles.com within the next year, because Daily Dementia regulars Geoff Keighley and Amer were “now” both working at GameSpot. And the other Daily Dementia regular, Tim Tibbetts, owned 3DFiles.com. In end, that’s exactly what happened.
Even more irony in the episode is that Amer and I talk about eUniverse buying GAGames and Case’s Ladder. On May 15th, 2000, I went to work for eUniverse which became Intermix Media which started MySpace and was sold to Fox/Newscorp. I worked for those entities until the end of 2006.
